Leadership Development Conference - this training is open to all youth and congregational lay leaders from the BC Region and PNWD who are interested in learning more about leadership and youth empowerment.  
*Bring adults who aren't already connected into your congregations youth programming to building bridges across generations! Send a multigen team of youth and adult leaders!

Registration is DUE by Mar. 18, 2011.
Cost is $45 CAN/$65 USD before March 1 OR $60 CAN/$80 USD after March 1st.

MexiCon - this weekend con is open to all UU youth from the QuOM area (CUC Eastern and Central regions), as well as those from the UUA Saint Lawrence District in New York state.

- May 19, (5-10pm) and May  20 (8:30am-5pm) 2011, Neighbourhood Unitarian Universalist Congregation Toronto, Ontario
Young Adult ACM Pre-Conference Gathering - join other YAs on the Thursday evening and the Friday all day before the CUC's Annual Conference and Meeting, for community building, workshops and worship organized by YAs just for us.  
Start the ACM off meeting with other YAs for a day of fun and fellowship!
Registration for the ACM, including the YA Pre-Con events are now OPEN (and found in the main ACM registration form)
Cost is $20 (this includes dinner on Thursday and lunch on Friday)

- Jul 14 - 17, 2011, Mount Saint Vincent's University, Halifax, Nova Scotia
CUUL School EAST - CUUL School is an intense, 4 day residential program that is a special opportunity to meet other UUs from your regions and together deepen your understanding of what it means to be a UU leader, through meaningful small group work, engaging plenary sessions and powerful worship.   
CUUL School is open to youth and adults of all ages.
Registration is DUE by Friday July 1, 2011
Cost is: $549 for the first participant from each congregation, then $499 for each subsequent registrations (the registration fee includes the cost of all accommodation, meals, and supplies for this live-in program)
* The CUC recommends that congregations support 50% of the cost of each registration

CUC GoldMine East - Youth Leadership School - This is an intense six-day school for youth where you will: develop your personal creed, deepen your knowledge of Unitarian Universalists’ challenging religious heritage and values, expand your skills for growing healthy groups, explore paths of worship, hone leadership skills so you can better heal our world and learn to be a better leader and communicator.
Please note: this program has been based on and inspired by the PNWD's GoldMine.  Adaptations have been made to add more Canadian content and context, but the program will be very similar in scoop.  Youth from all regions of the CUC are invited to attend.
